I loved this book. It's a multi-layered story of two families, a river, a house and the beautiful water. It is full of everyday practicalities and supernatural occurrences. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I read Breath and while I really enjoyed aspects of that story, I thought the beginning and the end were disappointing. However I experienced none of that disappointment here but rather a definite post-reading haunting. Not much more I can say here that hasn't already been said by others. Definitely worth a second read some time soon.
