A good walk through modern psychiatry and theories on psychopathy. I have studied many of the incidents and theories he refers to in the books, but I like his take on them: down to earth and appropriately pointing out the absurdity in some of them. A friend referred it to me as a funny book. I wouldn't say it's laugh out loud funny, but it isn't unfunny. It's funny in some parts, illuminating in many parts, but in many ways it's quite sad and depressing. Not only is it a good critique on theories and research surrounding psychopathy, but it also quite cleverly critiques psychiatry. A good easy read that will make you think how hard it would be to prove to someone that you are sane.
